An off road camper trailer has a high ground clearance and a robust suspension system that makes it is permitted in Francois Peron NP, Karijini NP, Millstream-Chichester NP, on the Gibb River Road and side tracks, on the Dampier Peninsula, in Purnululu NP, amongst others.

The combination 4WD car and off road camper trailer is great if you regularly want to spend several days in one place such as at the Ningaloo Reef. Big plus is that you can then explore the area by car during the day and leave the trailer at the campsite. Another plus is that a 4WD car does not have a heavy body like most 4WD campers so it is ussually more powerful in loose sand, mud or on steep trails than an almost heavy 4WD camper.

An off road camper trailer offers plenty of space that allows you to sit comfortably inside. Suitable for 4 adults, however in the convertible sitting area can sleep 3 children up to 140 cm tall.

Please note that the combination with a Toyota Landcruiser or Prado is very popular and therefore booked up early. There are only 3 off road camper trailers available for rent.
