Traveling the 4WD tracks of the Cape York Peninsula or for example the Plenty Highway or Gulf Track, but still have a lot of comfort at hand? Then check out this off road caravan. It has a dinette, 3 berths, lift roof, outdoor kitchen, a lot of storage space including under the double bed and has a quick to set up shower tent at the back. You fold up the rear part including the solar panel after which you can pull the tent down. This allows you to shower in even the most remote locations, especially as the caravan has 2 water tanks with a 82 litre capacity each. Do note: don't expect water jets like your shower at home! If that were the case, these water tanks would be emptied quickly.
A portable chemical toilet can be supplied upon request. The rental price is $50.00. Once you arrive at the campsite, you can place this toilet in the tent. The drawbar has two holders that can store 20 litre diesel jerry cans. Naturally, 4WD cars are available for rent along with the caravan. Like with other 4WD-caravan combi's, rental isn't cheap. Prices for a combination start at $320.00 per day.
